We keep your drivers awake so everyone gets home safely
Seeing Machines Driver Health & Safety Research Program
Even experienced drivers face fatigue
Bus and coach drivers are exposed to a wide range of occupational factors that can increase their vulnerability to fatigue, including prolonged driving, variable shift patterns, and urban traffic congestion.
Protect your most important asset, your people
Seeing Machines Driver Health & Safety Research Program is specifically designed to measure the risks related to fatigue and distraction.
- Identify key factors that influences a driver’s cognitive state
- Understand the impact of fatigue and distraction
- Improve policies to incorporate the findings
Aimed at Health and Safety Managers, the program offers insight into the effectiveness of current policies and measures taken to reduce the risk of accidents. These findings can be used to improve policies and develop necessary tools and training programs for drivers.
EU General Safety Regulation
The new EU General Safety Regulation (GSR) means all new buses and coaches will be required to have Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning (DDAW) technology installed from July 2024.
Industry leading Driver Distraction & Attention Warning technology
Seeing Machines can help you achieve compliance for DDAW systems in your new vehicles and add value for your customers.
- Upgrade your fleet to comply with new regulation
- Install proven technology in your vehicles
- Prioritise the safety of your drivers and passengers
Beyond GSR compliance
Once your vehicles are compliant, we offer additional services and features such as fatigue intervention plans and distraction monitoring. Backed by 24/7 analysis and support, Guardian has been scientifically proven to reduce fatigue related driving events by more than 90%.

Sustainable transportation
Ensuring healthy lives and promoting wellbeing is essential to sustainable development. According to a report from the World Health Organization, approximately 1.3 million people die annually as a result of road traffic accidents, with between 20 and 50 million more suffering non-fatal injuries and disability.
One of the recent Sustainable Development Goals from the UN include a call for action to halve the annual rate of road deaths globally and ensure access to safe, affordable and sustainable transport for everyone by 2030. But Seeing Machines is going one step further: our goal is ZERO transport fatalities.
"Safe transport should be available to all people, in all locations"
Seeing Machines exists to get everyone home safely. We believe technology in public transport is key to equalising the opportunities for safe and sustainable transportation around the world.
